REGISTRATION ENDS SUNDAY, March 2

  • June 16-22
    • Pre-Trip Gathering: Wednesday, May 30 @ 7-8 pm
  • Registration
    • Open on Monday, March 12
    • Close on Sunday, March 25
    • Participants
    • A limited number of spots are available
    • Acceptance will be based on a combination:
      • Form and $200 deposit received by Sunday, March 25
      • Order in which you registered
      • Year in school
    • You will be notified if your registration has been accepted by Friday, March 30
  • Cost
    • $690 per person
      • $200 deposit due to ECLC by March 25
      • Remaining balance due by June 1

March 24 @ 9 am - 4pm

  • Participate with other Do Justice Retreat (DJR) churches in the St. Paul contingency of the national March for Our Lives to end gun violence. Students will be shuttled from Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill to the beginning of the march. After the march, youth from the congregations will join together for lunch and a time of discussion and reflection.
  • If a parent has filled out an ECLC permission slip or online registration form in the last year, all you need to do to participate is add your name to the online sign-up sheet.


On Sunday, March 11th we began asking the question "Does God work through places of power?" by looking deeper into the Gospel According to Mark.

Summer Opportunities

  • Pilgrimage 2018 from July 8-15 in South Dakota
    • While registration has closed, please email J.D. if you are still interested in participating.
  • BWCAW Journey from June 16-22 in Minnesota's boundary waters
    • Registration closes on March 25
  • Augsburg Youth Theology Institute July 8-13 at Augsburg University in Minneapolis
    • If going out of town for the Pilgrimage isn't an option for you this year, consider AYTI. To attend you need to be recommended by your youth minister. If this is something you're interested in, please talk to JD in seeking a recommendation.
  • The Naming Project from August 5-10 at Bay Lake Camp
    • This week-long summer youth camp is specifically for youth who are a part of the LGBTQIA community or passionate allies. It is a space where youth can comfortably discuss faith and who they understand themselves to be and how they relate to God and the rest of the world.
  • All in the Circle: Creative Arts and Nature Camps
    • One of the Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light camps this summer will be hosted by ECLC. Be a volunteer with this camp and guide children through the two-day experience. Email Kelly Rowley at krowley@eclc.org for more information.
  • Climate Change and Genocide: Sexual Violence and Disaster from July 31 - August 2
    • A summer institute for High School and College students by the World Without Genocide at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
