Index for Detleff Ott family on MyHeritage.  Place of birth has not been indexed.  Carl Ott, age 6 has been incorrectly indexed as Paul Ott. 

Census index for Detleff Ott family on Ancestry.com.  This is the most inaccurate of all the indexes for this family.  The household has been combined with another family, so the wife is not correct.   Instead of Friedricke Nath the name of the wife is given as Anna Lüthje. The places of birth are all inaccurate.  Tandorf instead of Saxdorf;  Lockbaud instead of Böcklund; Roll instead of Stolk.  

Entries for other families in this place have also been incorrectly indexed.  Näve has been indexed as Närn.  Börnsen has been indexed as Baunsen.   Dina Ott has been indexed as Dina Sitt.

 The images of the films on Ancestry are not as clear as the images on the films at FamilySearch.    This may have contributed to the inaccurate reading of the film.
