“The Empire cast us out. Now we cast our own fate.”
Setting Overview
Once a proud and sprawling force, the Sunrasian Empire grew too vast, too fast. To secure its borders, it pushed settlers—willing or otherwise—into the untamed Frontier, promising land, titles, and freedom in exchange for loyalty and obedience.
Then the war came.
The Empire crumbled.
The frontier was abandoned.
You are an Exile—a branded soul cast into the wilds at the edge of civilization. Criminals, deserters, dissidents, outcasts, and misfits all share the same fate: survival or death on unforgiving soil. Each was granted a “parcel” of land by imperial decree—now meaningless in the eyes of the fallen Empire. You and others like you must now fight to defend, expand, steal or fight territory and resources to live.
But this land is no empty prize. Savage beasts, twisted remnants of fallen empires, outlaw warbands, and cursed, corrupted Exiles roam freely. Survival is only the first challenge. The second is deciding what kind of world you’ll build.
Will you forge a bastion of peace?
Or become warlords drenched in blood?
