About Us

Echoes of Gomidas is a Toronto-based Armenian choir created with a simple but powerful mission: to give our community a voice — through our voices. Inspired by the legacy of Komitas Vardapet, the guardian of Armenian music, we aim to preserve our heritage while inspiring a new generation to sing with pride, unity, and purpose.

Our choir brings together Armenians of all ages who share a love for our culture, our language, and our identity. Through music, we create a space where our people can reconnect with their roots, heal, celebrate, and be heard. Every rehearsal, every note, and every performance is a tribute to our ancestors, our survival, and our resilience.

We sing not only to remember — but to revive, uplift, and empower.
