In the same cartesian coordinate system, the property will be shared by several column series. To make sure it takes effect on the graph, please set the property on the last bar chart series of the system.

In this case, we set the type of axis to category and value under xAxis and yAxis. We also clarified the content on the x-axis through data. In series, we set the type to line, and specify the values of three points through data. In this way, we got a simple line chart.

In a series, there are empty data. It has some difference with 0. While there are empty elements, the lines chart will ignore that point without pass through it----empty elements will not be connected by the points next by.

The area chart fills the space between the line and axis with the background color, to express the data by the size of the area. Compared with the normal line chart, the area chart has more intuitive visual effects. It is especially suitable for the scenario with a few series.

I think TW5-ECharts is a revolutionary plugin and has given Tiddlywiki a step forward!

As using Echarts in full power needs some maths and logics, I would highly recommend to add more examples and share here lets demystify them!

I have tested release 0.01 and I think still there are barriers to efficiently use Echarts by ordinary users!

I would suggest to have wrapper for creating JSON or other input tiddlers, so one can use plain wikitext to create data to feed to Echarts for different purposes!

I agree with the point that echarts needs more examples, especially examples that can be used by the average user with just some simple settings. But one problem is that the visualization scheme and configurable items of echarts are massive and there should be no way for me to do this work independently.

As you said Echarts is very rich in features and it can draw many many different type of charts and diagrams! I thought if we can separate data from presentation and have some defaults for most common charts, then we can have a jump start for the average users! It is quite reasonable to have a much flexible interface if we want to use Echarts in its full power!

Or a sort of KPI card that could show some computed value in the workflow editor without having to run and open views. We could imagine it also for other input types like maps or tables.

The detachable table/object previews answer partly to the need, but being able to reduce them and anchor them in the workflow editor would be nice.

Integration of apache echarts is awesome headway towards more visually appealing knime and fully self self-service visual analytical tool as well. Will the e charts have full functionality as i could see only basic charts which plotly and other native view also provides. will it give the full functionality as well.

I have been working on a side project where I was inspired by excalidraws design and I loved how excalidraw moved at the speed that I thought (if that makes sense). So I created SourceChart to see if I could do something similar with charts and plots using svelte.

You can absolutely customize the appearance of the charts, through a combination of properties and Perspective themes (I suggest searching the forums for more info; they're an intentionally obscure feature because a large swathe of our customers simply don't need them). There are edges to both charting libraries that simply don't fit into the mostly static way React requires our components to render, but if you think you can do better, you're also welcome to create your own module that incorporates a Perspective component: ignition-sdk-examples/perspective-component at master  inductiveautomation/ignition-sdk-examples  GitHub

I must admit, the power chart out the box does need some work, but it's OK for a first pass and I am sure it will become what it's supposed to be with time and feedback. The tag browser for example is one thing that needs some work: the width needs to be changeable (default is far too narrow unless your Max folder depth is 1-2), and it desperately needs a filter to search for tags. I'm also not a huge fan of using a tree view, especially not if applying a filter without functions to select all, expand/collapse all. I've used a list in the past with vision and found it better for displaying lots of tags within the view window (can fit far more than a tree view) and its also quicker to select tags rather than having to click so many times to expand folders. However, I do understand why it uses a tree view to support multiple history providers, but think it could be solved differently, eg by selecting history provider from drop down list first

Yes , we do have a module RWS (restful web services) in exchange portal that displays chartjs components on a web page connected to Ignition using webdev module. However there are challenges like getting historical data, etc. But yes essentially you can get data in an HTML page using webdev then use what ever libraries you want to display that data in the HTML page!
