E.C. Glass Theatre, nestled within E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, Virginia, is a vibrant performing arts program dedicated to cultivating the next generation of theatrical talent. Through a comprehensive curriculum and numerous dynamic productions each year, students immerse themselves in every facet of theatre, from captivating acting and creative playwriting to intricate directing and essential technical design.
The program stages a diverse range of plays and musicals in the impressive E.C. Glass Civic Auditorium, a spacious venue equipped with modern amenities to bring stories to life. Allison Daugherty, Glass Theatre Artistic Director and Erin Foreman, Glass Technical Director bring a wealth of knowledge and talent to the theatre department. Their diverse backgrounds are overflowing with real world and educational experience which create a dynamic and comprensive experience for all Glass Theatre students.
Each year we aim to produce shows that will engage the students' mind, and spirit. From horror docu-dramas, to comedic musicals, and classics that never go out of style, we aim to ensure there is an opportuntiy for all students and of all different interests.
