The eCFM Tool is an Eclipse Plug-in based that provides to pratictioners a way to create feature models, context models and rules to associate them. It has provided a more rich data model to represent context and system parts of context-aware applications. Additionally, it contributes to expand the set of possible computations over context-aware applications. Given the lack of automated tools, it was created a prototype tool that offers a graphical interface to make easier the development of context - aware applications (see Figure 1). At the same time, we also focused on algorithms and formal methods (the well - formedness properties are specified in a OCL-like language) which clearly provides less errors in CAFM.
