I'm an economist with 10+ years designing and running program evaluations across sub-Saharan Africa and Europe, with a focus on education, socio-emotional skills, and gender gaps. I defended my PhD in Applied Economics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in April 2026 (cum laude), supervised by Caterina Calsamiglia.
My primary fields are applied and development economics. I build evaluation workflows end-to-end: research design, survey programming, fieldwork management, econometric analysis, and policy-facing write-ups. My work sits at the intersection of rigorous evidence and hands-on project management.
I have served as the Co-Principal Investigator of a large-scale randomized controlled trial in Spanish secondary schools and previously worked on behavioral and policy projects with the World Bank in Uganda and South Africa.
I'm drawn to mission-driven work, especially projects with fieldwork, where I can bridge the reality on the ground with the response it calls for.
