Project titled ‘Life Saavy- Wearable Flu-Sense Device’ Proposed by Dr Ragesh G K,HOD ECE and Er. Anuroop K B has been selected amongst the top 80 social innovators for Youth Co: Lab India 2020!(Youth Co: Lab fosters youth innovation for inclusion, helping develop initiatives that ensure no one is left behind. UNDP India and Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog join hands to strengthen the youth led innovation and social entrepreneurship ecosystem through Youth Co:Lab.)
Two MoU's were signed- Digital Core Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Kochi based Embedded System Technologies and having 8 to 35+ years of system design and Product Development Experience). and with AIC- Indian Institute of Information Technology ( Institute of National Importance), Kottayam.
Fablab in association with Teqard Labs has developed a UV disinfection robot named 'Raybo'. It can be controlled remotely to disinfect office spaces, hospitals etc . It's compact,portable size enables it to move through small spaces. It can be managed from anywhere in the world using embedded IoT and Live streaming. Integrated human sensors makes this idea suitable for large area disinfection. This robot can also be transformed as a service robo.
The project titled " LIFE SAVVY- the pandemic surveillance device" got shortlisted to the top 10 entries from about 2500 applications at the MHRD # SAVADHAN Mega Online Challenge jointly Initiated by Ministry of Human Resource Development, AICTE, Innovation Curis (ICFHE) for finding technological solutions against the noval CORONA pandemic.The Principal Investigator of the above project is Dr.Ragesh G K and Co- Investigators are Prof.Anuroop K B and Mr. Gokul Krishnan (Alumni 2015-2019 batch)
A low cost disinfection box using UV filtering has been developed in FABLAB. The product is capable of disinfecting day–to-day usage objects that we use in our life such as money,mobile phone, wallet,ppe equipments such as gloves and masks.The design of the product is in such a way that it can be scaled upto any size based on the requirement. The product can be widely used in households, shops, hospitals, offices etc. It has received preorders from different panchayats. The team will move on to mass production after getting certifications for the same.
The Online portal designed by Prof Anuroop, ECE ASIET for providing essential services for quarantined people in various panchayats was today extended to Kalady panchayat. It was launched by Adv.Thulasi teacher,President, Kalady Grama Panchayat in the presence of Sir Jaishankar C P,COO, Adishankara Group, Dr V. Suresh Kumar, Principal, ASIET ,other panchayat members and ASIET staff members.It is be noted that this online portal has been listed in the central government covid 19 site.
AdiShankara covid care website designed by Prof.Anuroop K B & AERO developers to support the local self governing bodies to organize and conduct the activities of their Rapid Response Team for COVID-19 has been recognised by the central Government of India. The web platform has been launched in various local bodies including Vadakkekara Grama panchayat of Paravur Taluk in EKM district. It was featured in social media by the My Gov platform , Gov of India. It is the only service featured from kerala.
Aiswarya Lakshmi T S8 ECE, Ramsi Fathima S8 ECE, Sreelakshmi Anil Kumar s8 ECE, and their Mentor Anuroop K B, Asst Prof dept ECE secured first place in the Business Plan Challenge for Woman organised by ATAL Incubation Centre, Jyothi Institute of Technology, Bangalore. The team has been shortlisted for SEED funding of a sum of up to 20 Lakhs & the Incubation Support is offered by Atal Incubation Centre-JITF Bangalore.
National level recognition team F4FAB (Malavika J ECE, Suman Menon ECE,Sreehari Suman ECE, Sreelakshmi Kumar ECE Mentor Anuroop K B ECE) secured first place for the National Level Technical Quiz Organized by ICT academy of Kerala. They also got honoured by Mr.Sasi ,CEO-IT Park kerala and Santhosh Chandrasekara Kurup, chief Executive Officer –ICT Academy of Kerala. They also received a funding support of INR 25,000/.
The team ASIET SQUAD with Srihari Soman, Sreejith S Nair, Lizbeth Shaji, Surya Paul, Nandharaj V.A, Rizwan from ECE Dept, mentored by Er. AnuroopK.B,Asst Prof, ECE Dept from AdiShankara institute of engineering and technology was selected into the final 15 of Reboot Kerala from 200 entries and was awarded the special Jury Award for their project names ‘Dam+91’ in the category of water.
FABLAB project "Protek Polz" designed by Sreehari Soman, Sreelakshmi Anilkumar, Ramsi Fathima and Aiswarya Lakshmi under the guidance of Prof.Anuroop K B has won at the National Level Idea Pitching Competition organized by LJ Group Ahmedabad, Gujarat supported by New Gen IEDC, DST Gov INDIA & SSIP Gov Gujarat. They got honored by Ahmedabad Collector and Team.
PYXIS :Fablab project - designed by Ananthakrishnan Potti , Sriram Suresh , JisnaSiby and MerinTeres under the guidance of Prof. Anuroop K.B has been shortlisted for Srishti 2020, a National Level Technical Project Exhibition and Competition organized by Saintgits college of engineering in association with National Instruments (NI) .
FABLAB project Protek designed by Ms.Sreelakshmi Anilkumar, Mr.Sreehari Soman, Ms.Ramsi Fathima and Ms.Aiswarya Lakshmi,under the guidance of Prof.Anuroop K.B has been shortlisted for national level competitive exposure of the project.

Prof.Anuroop K B (Asst. Professor, ECE and Fablab in charge) has been selected as the Regional Mentor of Change (R-MoC) under Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) for the country's strategic building,an initiative by the Central Govt to engage leaders who can guide and mentor students
2019 You tube Creator Award winner and famous tech you tuber Mr. Jio Joseph (M4 Tech) visited their stall and was impressed with the products. He even gave an offer to feature their products exclusively on his channel. Officers from KSUM also visited the stall and supported the team.
Prof. Anuroop and his team Successfully completed YIP (Young Innovators Programme) - Hands on workshop coined as ”Design For Kerala". Rapid prototyping of the proposed idea was done live and the project got the award for the best Project.
Fablab ASIET was invited for the Tech Expo 2019 at Balanagar Technical Institute representing the institution. The team presented various innovative products to the students and teachers from more than 30 schools and other educational institutes. The team received appreciation from the MLA of Angamaly Mr.Roji M John for bringing up socially relevant products. Special appreciation was recieved for Aero developers (Alumni startup) and the team Baltemgy rate, (aspiring startup group from 2014-2018 and 2015-2019 batch Dept ECE )for projecting their works along with other fablab products.
"Life Incubator” from e-waste was developed for a firm, AgroFarm India producer Company Ltd. by a team of students under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Anuroop K B. This product was successfully tested and is directly moving to market.
We have signed our first technical consultancy assignment with Agrofarm India producer Company Limited. The objective of this assignment is to digitize 6000 acres of land by providing all sorts of technology support. Mr.Anuroop,ECE will be the principal investigator of this assignment.
Received an amount of 1 Lakh , for the project above. Aero developers , an Alumni startup incubated at ASIET will be giving assistance for the same. Mr.Anuroop K B will be the principal investigator.
Innovative project PYXIS carried out by by AnanthakrishnanPotti, Sriram Suresh, Jisnasiby, Srivaishnavi (S7 EC -B) mentored by Anuroop KB (Dept of ECE, Fab Lab in Charge) received the 1st stage of project funding of Rs 75,000/- through Idea Fest organized by Kerala Startup Mission
The project titled ‘Hygiea Eco’, under the guidance of Mr.Anuroop K B, was adjudged best in the Innovative Idea category.
Mr.Anuroop also won the Best Mentor Award for the ‘Infinity Printer’, project of S8 ECE students mentored by Mr.Anuroop K B won the Best Project Design Award Category.
The First year Project ‘Repulsion Generator’ which was mentored by Mr.Anuroop K B won the Best Project Award in the APJ Abdul Kalam Innovation Challenge 2019.
The project titled infinity printer has been sanctioned an amount of Rs. 15,000 by the institution of the engineers(India)(IEI).
"Solar Panel Cleaning Robo" phase 1 has been completed by Mr.Anuroop KB.
Industry Support Project Phase -1 work undergone by Mr.Anuroop K B. He has designed a general purpose Low Power Hub with Integrated IoT capabilities for Apollo tyres
The project titled “Baltem Gyrate” won Rs. 5 lakhs grant (Phase -1)as a part of the Idea Day. They are expected to receive Rs. 12 lakhs for scale-up
The project titled “Lumia (Augmented Reality)” has been sanctioned an amount of Rs. 1.5 Lakh by Kerala Start Up Mission (KSUM).
