Weekly updates
Week #1
Ordered necessary parts
Worked on motor control code
Updated website
Began design and assembly of physical structure
Week #2
Planned out the pin layouts for each connected peripheral
Began working on the code for the 8x8 Matrix
Switched from DC Motor to using Servo Motor for the launching sequence of the ball.
We found that in order to launch to ball with more acceleration, a higher voltage than supplied by the nucleo board is necessary when using the DC motor.
Week #3
Purchased more servo motors
Created the Servo and PWM Motor Codes
We tested the turning capabilites of the servo code to see how fine we can actually get the motor to rotate
We also tested how to change the PWM duty cycle for the PWM motor. This changes the amount of voltage allowed into the motor and thus the RPM of the PWM Motor.
Finished programming and setting up Matrix, Wii Nunchuck, and other control code.
Began the construction of the actual launcher.
