PET LAB Mission

Photonics Enabled Technology (PET) research lab aims to focus on developing integrated photonics devices and systems for optical communication, high-speed computing, quantum engineering, and sensing applications.  Driven by the vision of promoting photonics as a next-generation technology solution, our work encompasses diverse areas, ranging from design, analytic modeling, simulation, fabrication, and integration, aimed at addressing significant challenges in the above-mentioned area. Undergraduate Students

PET Research Lab welcomes undergraduate students at SDSU who would like to participate in our research projects and get some research experience. Please send me email to “nahmed4 AT sdsu DOT edu” with your CV and research topics/projects in which you are interested. I will be happy to discuss new project topics (e.g., senior design projects) with undergraduate students.
