Welcome to the ECDC Dance Company — a program built for dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level. Our Company is designed to create technically strong, versatile, and passionate performers through a year-round commitment to excellence.

🩰 Our Training Philosophy

We believe in developing well-rounded dancers who are not only grounded in technique, but also empowered to express their artistry. Every Company dancer receives foundational training in core styles while also exploring creative and expressive movement in specialty classes.

📌 Strong attendance is essential — consistency fuels growth and confidence both in class and on stage.

📚 Required Classes

Company placement is determined by audition results and your dancer’s level for the 2026-27 season.

All dancers are required to take:
✔️ Ballet
✔️ Jazz
✔️ Tap

Additional required classes (based on level):
✔️ Conditioning
✔️ Technique/Turns
✔️ Contemporary
✔️ Lyrical
✔️ Second Ballet Class

Optional (but highly encouraged):
➕ Acro
➕ Musical Theater

📆 Annual Commitments

Company dancers are expected to participate in the full season, which includes the following events:

• ✅ Summer Classes (6-week session required)
  
  

• ✅ Choreography Week: September 8-11

• ✅ 4–5 Regional Competitions (held February–May; keep full weekends open once you receive the dates)
  
  

• ✅ Nationals (Late June or Early July)
  
  

• ✅ Dance Convention with top industry professionals
  
  

• ✅ Holiday Show & Annual Recital
  
  

• ✅ Company Photoshoot
  
  

💰 Fundraising & Support

We’re proud to offer fundraising opportunities through the
ECDC Company Booster Club, helping families support the costs of competitions, travel, and events. Get involved and be part of the journey!

🔒 Placement Policy

All Company placements are final and thoughtfully determined by our faculty.
If you have questions about your dancer’s growth or goals, please contact the studio director directly.
📧 We kindly ask that families do not contact teachers individually regarding placement decisions.
