Welcome to the Energy Conversion & Catalysis Lab (ECCL).

In mankinds' pursuit of global sustainability and carbon neutrality, energy conversion and catalysis stands as key technologies.  Our lab is dedicated to the strategic development of innovative materials and catalysts, driving the creation of highly efficient energy storage and conversion devices, such as fuel cells, electrolyzers, and batteries.

Our primary research interest centers on unraveling the intricate interplay between strucutre, morphology, and defect - to the catalytic and electrochemical properties of materials. To realize this objective, we pursue multidisciplinary approaches that span diverse fields; thermodynamics, mass transfer, electrochemisty, catalysis, reaction engineering, nano-fabrication, material science, and advanced analytical techniques.
