Earthquake Design Competition

Earthquake Design Competition is the flagship competition of Centroid-2018, arranged by department of civil engineering, BUET. The challenge is to build a structure using provided materials on spot. Specification of the structure and materials will be declared later. Super imposed dead load (blocks) and seismic load will be applied on the structures. Intensity of seismic load will be increased in stages. Structure with the highest efficiency in surviving against seismic loading will be the champion. Team Formation Students from any university of any discipline can participate in this competition, but members of each team should be from the same institution. Maximum number for each team is 4.
