Yes.
The practice expectation for winter varsity season is four 1-hour practices per week. The team can set the practice times according to their own schedules. Spring club season does not have practice expectations.
Each game has one competitive match per week during the seson.
Yes. At this time, we do not have an available gaming lab. Each player must have the necessary software and equipment for their respective game(s). All practices and competitions will be played on your personal gaming system, with the exception of the state tournament, which is an in-person event at St. Cloud State University.
Winter varsity season occurs November through the first weekend of March. The top teams in each game go on to compete at the in-person state tournament at St. Cloud State University. The spring club season is more casual and a fun way to work on your skills. You do not need to compete in both winter varsity and spring club seasons - you can do one or the other if that works best with your schedule.
Yes. The team will communicate via a Discord server. The GM and coaches are able to see all activity that occurs on the server. Players are expected to demonstrate proper conduct/behavior at all times.
Currently we do not have a middle school team. MNVL requires middle school teams to have an at-school gaming lab that is facilitated by a coach. Unfortunately we do not have these resources available at this time.
