I built this coffee tote during the beginning hand tool woodworking course at Port Townsend School of Woodworking. It is a week long intensive at the school which is located inside of the historic Fort Worden state park, on the Olympic peninsula, with super clear views of the Olympic range. Truly an amazing experience I'll remember for the rest of my life. During the course we spent a lot of time on layout and learning how to use different saws and chisels. Ultimately I learned a ton about different techniques for cutting, planing, and joining wood and used rabbet and half-lap joinery to put the tote together.
