W4C Assignment of Workshop; Think and Propose New and Innovative Coffee Cup （Mug）
Please read the following before attending at the workshop.
Background: You are in charge of designing at a global coffee cup provider, marketing coffee cups of various designs in many countries. As coffee drinking is getting more popular in the world, the demand is expected to grow every year. However, there is tough competition in the coffee mug market and your company’s sales are declining, a sign that your company is failing in competition. The management of the company is asking you to come up with a more competitive concept of coffee cup to recover market share lost.
You have the best and brightest talent in your company in marketing and planning of new products but unfortunately all of them are equipped with only conventional thinking of reductionism, except you.
Your team in W4C breakout room is made of all EBT minded and please proceed your work according to the EBT style and show your creativity in proposing a new concept of coffee cup (mug) to market very soon.
Due to cutthroat competition, you may give up some of the demand for too conventional designs but you are given freedom to introduce something innovative in design with the permission of the top management.
You have a contracted think tank for future technologies. However, the actual production is outsourced and you can concentrate on planning and designing a coffee cup, a mug type.
The last underlined portion assumes less consideration to make mechanisms for production matters at Living Solution Phase.
