Women with bigger breasts suffer worse colds

Women with F-cup breasts took 8.3 days to recover from colds, coughs, and flu while the ones with AA-cup breasts only took 3.8 days to recover. The findings correlates with the theory that fat cells in the breasts weaken the immune system.

Lepitin, a hormone that is produced from fat cells found on a woman's breasts, reduces the body's ability to recover from illnesses. It's main function is to help regulate how much energy is consumed throughout the day.

Based on the study, women with bigger breast size have more Lepitin which makes them harder to recover from respiratory infections. It also makes them susceptible to colds due to their immune system's slow ability to ward off sickness.

More than 400 women were asked how much they had suffered from respiratory infections over the last three years. Aside from the questionaires, the researchers also relied on the health cards submitted by the participants.

The study revealed that breast is positively related with respiratory infections and that women with fuller breasts are more likely to take longer time to recover from colds, coughs, and flu. This was not the first time a study was conducted about the relation of breast size and immune system.

A related study was also conducted on 163 non pregnant women. It revealed that women with bigger breasts were 56 times more likely to finish the course of antibiotics.
