Hi! My name is Ada Chibueze. I am a current third year pursuing an Environmental Studies degree with a passion for all things regarding social equity and sustainability. In my free time I enjoy traveling, fashion, and spending time with my family and friends. The reason why I started E.B.O.N.I is that I noticed the lack of spaces on campus that specifically catered to the needs of black womxn. Hence why under the mentorship and guidance of those around, is how E.B.O.N.I got started. Through this space, I hope to foster community and guidance amongst black womxn on our campus through the creation of this organization.

Hello! My name is Ceion and I’m a 3rd year biology major and black studies minor on the pre-dental track. I enjoy going to the beach, hanging out with my friends, binge watching shows and relaxing with my two dogs. This is an important space for me because I want other people to have an easier opportunity to form strong friendships like I did during my first two years. I hope to make an impact on the black UCSB community with this club and leave a legacy that future gauchos are proud to be a part of.

Hey everyone! My name is Towela and I am a 3rd year computer science major from South Africa. I love playing guitar, going on hikes, traveling, and exploring new technologies in the fields of computer vision and machine learning. I hope to create a safe environment for black students at UCSB and cultivate lifelong bonds beyond my time here on campus.
