Dr. Rajeswari Muthuswamy is board certified in Child/Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry and she has been practicing in the New Jersey area for over 10 years.
She finished her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Program.
She was a faculty member in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division at the Rutgers UBHC (University Behavioral Health Care) and was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award by the Child and Adolescent Fellowship Program at the Rutgers UBHC for her teaching excellence.
She was also conferred the America’s Top Psychiatrists Award in 2011 by the Consumers Research Council of America. Join us to learn from her!
Grace Del Carmen is a Behavioral Neuroscience Major with a minor in International Affairs and is on a pre-med track. Isabela Iglesias attends Northeastern University and majors in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in nutrition, while also fulfilling a pre-med track.
Dr. Katrina Pack joined Blue Sky Neurology after relocating from the Philadelphia area. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in biology. She then went on to attend Temple University School of Medicine for her medical degree. She completed her neurology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she served as chief resident during her final year of training. She then stayed an additional year to complete a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine.
Dr. Pack specializes in neuromuscular medicine and electromyography, but enjoys seeing general neurology patients as well. She has a great amount of research experience, including myasthenia gravis, stiff person syndrome, and post-polio syndrome. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology as well as the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
We will be having a discussion about what we learned so far from the session with the guest speakers.
Dr. Meena Murthy is Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Nutrition and Metabolism at Saint Peter’s University Hospital. She is the Director of Saint Peter’s Thyroid and Diabetes Center and Director for the South Asian Institute at the Department of Medicine. Dr. Murthy has certification in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Nutrition, and Metabolism. She has had advanced training and certification for Geriatrics by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology/American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She has served as President of American Diabetes Association community board for North Jersey Chapter and as Subject Expert for the committees hosted by Healthcare Talent Network of NJ.
Dr. Murthy is Associate Professor of Medicine at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and has served as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. She has received certification as a Master Trainer for the Stanford University Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) and has worked as Co-Director for the Clinical Competency Center and the Director of the Chronic Disease Self-Management program at Saint Peter’s University Hospital.
Dr. Akshay Goel is an abdominal imaging radiologist with interests in medical informatics, education, and applications of deep-learning. He completed his bachelor of science in computer science at Carnegie Mellon University and earned his medical degree at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He subsequently completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Columbia University and his Abdominal Imaging/Informatics fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Nayana Sharma, one of the members of EB MedsUnite presented the topic of allergic reactions to the group. She spoke about the different types of reactions, possible precautions, etc.
Jayashree Balaraman and Veena Gonugondla, president/founder and vice president of EB MedsUnite respectively, presented the topic of CPR and AEDs. They spoke about when CPR should be done, how to do CPR theoretically, benefits of doing CPR, how to use an AED, and statistics about how many lives CPR has saved.
Ajab Shakir, one of the social media directors, presented the topic of mental health. She spoke about the importance of mental health, the number of different mental issues, preventive methods, and mental health in correlation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Riya Shah, one of the social media directors, presented the topic of the COVID-19 vaccine. She spoke about the importance of the vaccine, the composition of it, the side-effects of it, and extra facts regarding it. Jayashree also conducted a Kahoot afterward.
Dr. Monica Kieu, D.O., FACS is a board-certified specialist in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. She helps her patients improve their health, and their appearance, with exceptional skill and compassion!
Our Mayor, Doctor Brad Cohen is a gynecologist serving the Central New Jersey area. Dr. Cohen attended Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, where he received his medical degree. Join us to learn more about his many experiences as well as to hear the advice he has to share with us!
