About The Teacher Series
In the late 1950s, Dr. and Mrs. Wierwille welcomed individuals into their home who desired to study and learn more about God’s Word, continuing Dr. Wierwille’s commitment to teaching it to others. Those early gatherings grew from their living room to the later radio broadcasts of his teachings, during which time he became known as “The Teacher.”
From those earliest days of teaching God’s Word, Dr. Wierwille encouraged people to write to him with any questions. He often said that he believed, “The church ought to be a place where believers meet and have a right to talk about the Word of God, to share, to reciprocate, to bring things that you may have or light that you may see or questions that you may have. For what good is it if we teach the Word unless it's understood?”
It wasn’t difficult to reach him. People could simply address their questions or concerns to

PMA is thankful to all who contributed to making this collection of Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille’s Sunday Night Teachings from the early 1960s to 1985 available to share. These weekly expository Bible teachings emphasize the integrity and accuracy of God’s Word, the renewed mind, believing, healing, and the walk of the believer. They represent decades of teaching delivered live to hungry students of God’s Word. These teachings capture both the doctrinal depth and practical application of His Word in daily living.
As you listen to these timeless teachings from God’s rightly-divided Word, you will not only learn God’s will for the Christian believer today, but you will also get a glimpse into the heart of the man whose vision for the movement of God’s Word went far beyond Ohio. He penned this poem, illustrating his commitment to teach faithful men and women of God who would teach others also.
The Teacher of God’s Word
The teacher of God's Word is one of a kind
Who loves God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength;
And who loves nothing more than to teach his Word.
The teacher of God's word is an artist
He works alone – reading – thinking – praying – studying –
Believing to share his product with all the world.
The teacher of God's word is a giver
One who gives without the guarantee of being received;
One who rejoices without knowing if anyone else will joy;
One who corrects the irresponsible and careless;
One who gives, gives, gives, and keeps on giving.
The teacher of God’s Word lives only to teach
To receive, to weigh, to discard, to develop,
To learn, to treasure, to give, to motivate,
To enlist, to stabilize, to encourage, to direct.
And may I add, and to build equipped believers,
ambassadors strong and wise
Who teach because they love the teacher's task
And find their richest prize
In eyes that open, and in minds that ask.
