Greetings Electric Bike Enthusiasts,
We’re excited to share plans for the 2026 season of the Capital Brewery Bike Club (CBBC) E-Bike Riders Group, located in Middleton, WI. This is a weekly group ride designed for E-bike riders who enjoy scenic routes and all the fun and healthy benefits that come with getting out on two wheels.
Here are some of the rides planned over the next few weeks.
All rides start and finish at Capital Brewery in Middleton, WI
CBBC Membership is not required, although we encourage you to experience the benefits of joining the CBBC E-Bike Group.
May 13 @5:30 pm Season Opener Meet and Greet, New Rider Orientation, and Group Ride - We’ll cover Capital Brewery Bike Club basics, our favorite local routes, membership sign-up and communications, group ride etiquette (how to keep it smooth and safe!), and E-bike riding "pro-tips".
5:30 pm E- Bike Meet and Greet, Introductions and Orientation
5:45 pm Group ride through the Pheasant Branch Conservancy (10 miles, about 1 hour)
6:45 pm Post Ride Club orientation, routes and schedule
May 20 @ 5:30 pm Memorial Ride. See you in the Capital Brewery parking lot !
May 27 @5:30 pm End of May Ride. See you in the Capital Brewery parking lot !
June 3 Celebrate Bike Week ! …in the morning
6:30 am - 8:30 am (Wednesday) Visit the Bike Week Commuter Station along Old Middleton Road for “B3: Bikes, Bakery, and Brews” sponsored by Capital Brewery Bike Club, Clasen’s Bakery, Crazy Lennys’s E-bikes, and the City of Middleton.
June 3 More Bike Week Celebration ! ..after work
5:00 pm (Wednesday) Join in for a special CBBC and B Cycle event: Bikes Build Communities! B4: Bikes, B Cycle, Bakery, and Capital Brewery Ice Cream Floats ! Test ride and learn about B Cycle’s shared bike system, then join in for one of two group rides at 5:30 pm through Middleton's scenic Downtown and Pheasant Branch Conservancy. Clasen’s Bakery treats and Capital Brewery Ice Cream Floats !
EVERY WEDNESDAY in the Summer
All group rides leave from the Capital Brewery Beer Garden Parking Lot on Wednesday Nights at 5:30pm through August.
What to Expect for Wednesday E-Bike Group Rides:
Distance: 12–20 miles
Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours
Pace: 12–15 mph
Route Style: Loop rides (out and back) with a Ride Leader, but no sweep.
Terrain: Mostly paved bike trails, some hard gravel and low-traffic urban road connectors, and a few beautiful country road routes
Post-Ride: Refreshments and camaraderie back at Capital Brewery Beer Garden
Helmet use is required, and safety and path and road etiquette will be stressed.
Whether you're brand new to E-biking or a seasoned rider and looking to explore new trails this E-bike group is for you. You'll explore stunning local paths including the Pheasant Branch Trail system, Blackhawk Trails, UW Lakeshore path, and other Middleton and Madison trail systems, with a scenic Countryside ride outside of Middleton.
All E-bike classes (1, 2 and 3) are welcome. All participants must wear a helmet and sign an annual waiver available before each ride. CBBC Membership is not required, although we encourage you to experience the benefits of joining the CBBC E-Bike Group.
