The Atlanta BeltLine

The BeltLine is a massive loop of multi-use trails connecting dozens of neighborhoods. While the full 22-mile loop is still being completed, several major segments are open:

• Eastside Trail: 3.7 miles (Piedmont Park to Reynoldstown)

• Westside Trail: 3.4 miles (Washington Park to Adair Park)

• Southside Trail: 4.1 miles (Interim unpaved/paved sections connecting East and West)

• West End Trail: 2.4 miles

• Northside Trail: 1.2 miles (Tanyard Creek Park area)

• Northeast Trail: 2.0 miles (Piedmont Park to Ansley Golf Club)

The Silver Comet Trail official start- Mavell Road / Nickajack Elementary Trailhead

is the primary gateway to one of Georgia's most iconic multi-use paths. This 61.5-mile paved trail begins in Smyrna and extends all the way to the Alabama state line, following a former rail line through quiet woods and over impressive trestle bridges.

• Scenic & Accessible: The trail is completely paved and relatively flat, making it ideal for long-distance cycling, running, or casual walking.

• Convenient Amenities: The official start features a large parking area, restrooms, and water fountains to help you prep for your trip.

• Continuous Route: Once you reach the state line, it connects directly to Alabama's Chief Ladiga Trail for another 33 miles of riding.
