This project, funded by the Leverhulme Trust, investigates 19th-century Glasgow at the height of its industrial power, examining how space, economy, and society evolved. Using historical data, it explores urban expansion, emerging professions, and population diversity, offering a holistic view of the city's spatial, economic, and social transformation during a critical period of growth.
