Like waves that show up uninvited but always welcome, Whispers of the Waves came through as a much needed pause a space to reconnect with your body, nature, and the people around you. In collaboration with the running community Me Against Me (MAM), we created a two day beach experience filled with movement, laughs, and slow moments that hit different. On Friday and Saturday, April 30–31, 2025, things kicked off with a laid-back fun football session on the sand no scores, no rules, just barefoot chaos, good vibes, and people having a blast. As the day mellowed out, a DJ set the mood by the beach, spinning tracks just as the sun started dipping low. Imagine golden hour, salty breeze, music bumping, and friends either dancing, chilling, or still kicking the ball like time didn’t exist.
When night came, we camped out under the stars, lit a small bonfire, swapped stories, and let the playlist run while the ocean hummed in the background. The next morning, we shook off the sand and laced up for a casual trail run, guided by the MAM crew. No pressure, just moving at your own rhythm and letting nature do the talking. Whispers of the Waves wasn’t about being perfect or pushing limits it was more like pressing pause, catching your breath, and remembering that sometimes, all you need is a little sweat, some sun, music in your ears, and your crew around you to feel grounded again.
