Fostering means bringing a dog into your home and caring for it until it is adopted. This can be anywhere from a couple of days through to a few weeks (or months).

You're responsible for:

• Socialisation
• Feeding
• Training

Often people who join us are not familiar with our adoption process. It is quite straightforward:

1. People submit an application here
2. We send it to foster carers to review, and then they call the applicant
3. They arrange a meet and greet (at the foster carers home ideally)
4. If suitable, the applicant advises us in email eavingsrescue@gmail.com if they would like to adopt.
5. We issue them a contract electronically, which they sign,
6. They make payment electronically.
7. Once payment is finalised, we will advise the foster carer. Pickup cannot happen before this.
8. Pick up can be organised. The foster carer needs to take a "gotcha" photo to upload to the Team Page.
