Dynamite Chicken Sandwich🍔
Dynamite Chicken Sandwich🍔
A Spicy, Crispy Delight
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp salt
Chicken fillets (boneless and skinless)
1/2 cup mayo
3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
Sriracha to your liking (I use about 1/3 cup for an extra kick)
Fresh cabbage (shredded)
Black sesame seeds
Chopped chives
Pickles
Soft burger buns
In a bowl, mix the flour, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt.
Pour buttermilk into a separate bowl and submerge the chicken fillets, letting them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for extra tenderness).
After marinating, coat each fillet in the flour mixture, ensuring an even, crispy layer.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
Fry the coated chicken fillets until golden brown and crispy (about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness).
Remove and let them rest on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and Sriracha.
Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Sriracha based on your preference.
Toast the burger buns lightly for extra texture.
Spread a generous amount of Dynamite Sauce on both halves of the bun.
Place the crispy fried chicken on the bottom bun.
Top with shredded cabbage, pickles, black sesame seeds, and chives for added crunch and flavor.
Cover with the top bun and enjoy!
Marinate longer: For extra juicy chicken, let it sit in buttermilk overnight.
Extra crispy chicken: Double-dip in the flour mixture for an extra crunch.
Balance the heat: Add a touch of honey to the sauce if you prefer a milder taste.
Bun matters: Use brioche buns for a slightly sweet contrast to the spicy filling.
This Dynamite Chicken Sandwich is a must-try for spice lovers and crispy chicken fans alike. The fiery sauce, the crunchy toppings, and the juicy chicken come together in the perfect bite. Give it a try and let me know how you like it!
