About a decade ago Debbie developed several health-related issues that drastically altered her relationship with food. Over the course of several years, eating the Standard American Diet had both contributed to and exacerbated her chronic auto-immune and inflammatory issues caused by tick-borne illnesses.
Through research and culinary experimentation, Debbie learned how to eat to properly support her body. As clean eating and lifestyle changes began to positively transform her health a love of cooking as a creative outlet began to blossom. She found that the simple act of cooking could be a source of both comfort and pride and relished the opportunity to share her creations with friends and family.
After seeing the positive impact clean eating had on her health and happiness, Debbie became inspired to deepen her understanding of health and nutrition. She attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC where she became a Certified Health Coach. She continues to support others on their health and wellness journeys.
