EasyCast ("the app") lets you enter a web address or search term, browse the resulting page, and cast video to a Chromecast or other compatible device on your local network. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
The developer of EasyCast does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information about you. EasyCast has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics operated by the developer. Pages you browse and links you cast are processed on your device and are not transmitted to the developer.
EasyCast relies on services provided by Google. These services may collect information directly, in accordance with their own privacy policies, independently of the developer:
Google AdMob (in the free version of the app) displays advertisements. To do so it may collect or process data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, approximate (IP-based) location, and ad-interaction information. See the Google Ads Privacy and Google Privacy Policy. Upgrading to the paid (Premium) version removes ads.
Google Play Billing processes the optional one-time Premium upgrade purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Google; the developer never receives or stores your payment details. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Google Cast is used to send the media you choose to your cast device over your local network. The media URL is sent to the cast device you select.
EasyCast includes an embedded web browser. When you visit a website, that website (and any third parties it uses) may collect information about you and may store cookies or other data on your device, exactly as they would in any web browser. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. The developer does not receive your browsing history.
On Android you can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier at any time under Settings → Google → Ads. Buying the Premium upgrade disables ads entirely.
EasyCast is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the developer does not collect or store your personal information, there is no developer-held user data to be lost or breached. Data handled by the third-party services above is secured under their respective policies.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
