EasyBend is a conduit bending calculator for electricians and apprentices. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and what stays on your device.
Summary: Bend calculations and your preferences are stored locally on your device. When you use in-app purchases or the Pro paywall, Apple and our subscription partner Adapty process purchase-related data according to their policies. We do not operate a user account system or sell your data.
Mosaic Minds Studio LLC does not require you to create an account and does not operate servers that store your bend inputs, mark lists, or job-site measurements.
We do not collect:
Name, email, or phone number (unless you email us for support)
Photos, location, contacts, or microphone/camera data
Your conduit bend measurements entered in the calculators
EasyBend saves certain settings on your device using Apple’s local storage (UserDefaults). This may include:
Selected bender and pinned benders
Custom benders you create (Pro feature)
Measurement unit preference (Inches or Feet + Inches)
Mark method preference
Math precision preference (Field Rule or Exact Trig)
Default conduit type preference
Whether Pro access is cached locally after a successful purchase
This information stays on your device unless you delete the App or reset your device. Deleting the App removes this local data.
Free: Standard offset calculator and reference charts, among other free features we may offer.
Pro: A one-time in-app purchase unlocks additional bend calculators, Layout Planner, custom benders, Exact Trig precision, and related features described in the App.
Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may provide us with purchase confirmation and related metadata needed to unlock Pro features.
We use Adapty, Inc. ("Adapty") to manage paywalls, products, purchase validation, and subscription/access status for Pro. When you open the paywall, restore purchases, or complete a purchase, the App may connect to the internet and Adapty may receive information such as:
App installation and device identifiers used for analytics and fraud prevention
Purchase and restore events tied to your Apple ID transaction
Product and paywall interaction data
Country/locale and App version
Adapty processes this data under their privacy policy. We encourage you to review it:

We configure Adapty with our public SDK key only. We do not embed secret API keys in the App.
You may restore a prior Pro purchase through the App (via Adapty/Apple). Restore requires an internet connection and your Apple ID purchase history.
Bend calculators and reference charts work offline once the App is installed.
Paywall, purchase, and restore features require an internet connection.
EasyBend does not display third-party ads.
We do not integrate separate analytics or crash-reporting SDKs beyond what Adapty and Apple may provide in connection with purchases and App Store distribution. We do not use your data for cross-app advertising.
EasyBend is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is a trade tool intended for electricians and learners in the field. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.
Local app data remains on your device until you delete the App.
Purchase records are retained by Apple and Adapty according to their policies.
We take reasonable steps to choose reputable service providers; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you by a company that processes it.
Local app data: Delete the App from your device.
Purchase data: Manage subscriptions and purchase history in your Apple ID settings; contact Apple Support for refund requests per App Store policy.

If you use EasyBend outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Apple, Adapty, or their service providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
By downloading, installing, or using EasyBend, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
EasyBend is offered by Mosaic Minds Studio LLC ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms are between you and Mosaic Minds Studio LLC, not Apple Inc., except as stated in Section 10.
EasyBend provides calculations, mark suggestions, diagrams, and reference values for conduit bending based on common trade practices, manufacturer-style bender data, and formulas you select (including Field Rule approximations and Exact Trigonometry mode).
EasyBend is a layout assistant only. It is not:
Engineering, design, or code-compliance software
A substitute for job-site verification, supervision, or manufacturer instructions
A guarantee that any bend will fit, meet NEC or local code, or match your specific bender shoe in every condition
You are responsible for verifying every mark on scrap conduit, checking bender settings, and following applicable codes, standards, and employer requirements.
We may offer certain features at no charge, including the standard offset calculator and reference material. Free features may change in future updates.
EasyBend Pro is a one-time in-app purchase (non-consumable) that unlocks additional features, which may include:
Rolling offset, parallel offset, and other advanced offset types
3-point and 4-point saddles
90° stub-up, back-to-back, parallel 90°, kicks, segmented 90°, and compound 90° calculators
Layout Planner (multiple bends on one stick)
Custom bender profiles
Exact Trig shrink mode
The exact Pro feature set is described in the App and on the App Store at the time of purchase. We may add or adjust Pro features in updates without changing the nature of a one-time unlock already purchased.
Offset (standard) remains free as described in the App Store listing unless we state otherwise in writing.
All purchases are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
Prices are shown in the App or App Store and may vary by region and currency.
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription, unless we clearly label a product otherwise in the future.
Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase to regain Pro on a new device.
We do not control Apple’s billing, refunds, or family sharing rules.
Refunds: Request refunds through Apple per Apple’s refund policy. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use EasyBend for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms and the App Store rules.
You may not:
Copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law
Use the App in a way that violates law or third-party rights
Circumvent paywalls or Pro access controls
Resell access to Pro features
Calculations depend on:
Values you enter
Bender deduct, gain, CLR, and setback data in our database or your custom entries
Field Rule rounding vs Exact Trig mode
Physical bender condition and technique
Results are estimates. Shoe clearance warnings and feasibility flags are helpful heuristics, not exhaustive safety checks. Always measure and verify on site.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASYBEND IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT CALCULATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE FOR EVERY INSTALLATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOSAIC MINDS STUDIO LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, WORK STOPPAGE, SCRAP CONDUIT, REWORK, OR PROJECT DELAYS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF EASYBEND.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR EASYBEND PRO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50 USD).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mosaic Minds Studio LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You acknowledge that:
These Terms are between you and Mosaic Minds Studio LLC, not Apple.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
Apple is not responsible for product claims, intellectual property claims, or third-party claims regarding the App.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Your use of the App must comply with the App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable usage rules.
Your use of Adapty and Apple services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, paywall errors, or purchase delays outside our reasonable control.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature if required by law, platform policy, or business reasons. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise. You may also have rights under consumer protection laws in your home jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated through the App Store listing or in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
