OVERVIEW

EasyBend is a conduit bending calculator for electricians and apprentices. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and what stays on your device.

Summary: Bend calculations and your preferences are stored locally on your device. When you use in-app purchases or the Pro paywall, Apple and our subscription partner Adapty process purchase-related data according to their policies. We use Amplitude to understand how the App is used (screens, taps, sessions, and optional session replay). We do not operate a user account system or sell your data.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT DIRECTLY

Mosaic Minds Studio LLC does not require you to create an account and does not operate servers that store your bend inputs, mark lists, or job-site measurements.

We do not collect:

- Name, email, or phone number (unless you email us for support or feedback)

- Photos, location, contacts, or microphone/camera data

- Your conduit bend measurements entered in the calculators

DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE (LOCAL ONLY)

EasyBend saves certain settings on your device using Apple's local storage (UserDefaults). This may include:

- Selected bender and pinned benders

- Custom benders you create (Pro feature)

- Measurement unit preference (Inches or Feet + Inches)

- Mark method preference

- Math precision preference (Field Rule or Exact Trig)

- Default conduit type preference

- Whether Pro access is cached locally after a successful purchase

This information stays on your device unless you delete the App or reset your device. Deleting the App removes this local data.

PURCHASES, PRO FEATURES, AND INTERNET USE

Free and Pro features

- Free: Standard offset calculator and reference charts, among other free features we may offer.

- Pro: A one-time in-app purchase unlocks additional bend calculators, Layout Planner, custom benders, Exact Trig precision, and related features described in the App.

Apple In-App Purchase

Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Adapty

We use Adapty, Inc. ("Adapty") to manage paywalls, products, purchase validation, and access status for Pro. When you open the paywall, restore purchases, or complete a purchase, the App may connect to the internet and Adapty may receive purchase-related and device information. Restore purchases requires an internet connection and your Apple ID purchase history.

NETWORK AND OFFLINE USE

- Bend calculators and reference charts work offline once the App is installed.

- Paywall, purchase, and restore features require an internet connection.

- Analytics (Amplitude) requires an internet connection in release builds. Debug builds do not send analytics.

ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, AND TRACKING

EasyBend does not display third-party ads. We do not use your data for cross-app advertising and we do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or App Tracking Transparency for ads.

Amplitude

We use Amplitude, Inc. to measure product usage so we can improve EasyBend. In release (App Store / TestFlight) builds, the App may send Amplitude:

- App opens, sessions, and lifecycle events

- Screens viewed and in-app taps

- Feature events such as bend type selected, calculator used, paywall viewed, purchase completed, settings changed, and feedback actions

- Whether Pro access is active

- Device and install identifiers Amplitude uses to distinguish users (typically Apple's Identifier for Vendor / IDFV, not IDFA)

- App version, device type, OS version, and similar diagnostics

- Session Replay recordings of on-screen interactions in the App (what you tap and which screens you visit). Session Replay is used to understand usability problems. It is not used to collect your conduit measurements as a customer database, and we do not sell replay data.

Analytics are disabled in debug (developer) builds.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

EasyBend is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us.

YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

- Local app data: Delete the App from your device.

- Purchase data: Manage in Apple ID settings; contact Apple Support for refunds.

- Adapty: See Adapty's privacy policy for their data practices.

- Amplitude: See Amplitude's privacy policy for their data practices. You can also email us to ask how we use analytics.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy. The Last Updated date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.

TERMS OF SERVICE

By downloading, installing, or using EasyBend, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. WHO WE ARE

EasyBend is offered by Mosaic Minds Studio LLC. These Terms are between you and Mosaic Minds Studio LLC, not Apple Inc., except as stated in Section 10.

2. WHAT EASYBEND DOES

EasyBend provides calculations, mark suggestions, diagrams, and reference values for conduit bending.

EasyBend is a layout assistant only. It is not engineering or code-compliance software and does not guarantee any bend will fit or meet NEC or local code. You are responsible for verifying every mark on scrap conduit and following applicable codes and employer requirements.

3. FREE AND PRO FEATURES

Free features may include the standard offset calculator and reference material.

EasyBend Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional calculators, Layout Planner, custom benders, Exact Trig mode, and related features described in the App. Offset (standard) remains free as described in the App Store listing unless we state otherwise.

4. PURCHASES, PAYMENT, AND RESTORE

- Purchases are processed by Apple.

- Pro is a one-time purchase unless clearly labeled otherwise in the future.

- Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple ID.

- Refunds: Request through Apple per Apple's refund policy.

5. LICENSE

We grant you a limited license to use EasyBend for personal or internal business use. You may not reverse engineer, circumvent Pro access, or resell access.

6. ACCURACY

Results are estimates based on your inputs and selected bender data. Always measure and verify on site.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASYBEND IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID FOR PRO IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR $50 USD.

9. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, except where caused by our gross negligence.

10. APPLE APP STORE

These Terms are between you and Mosaic Minds Studio LLC, not Apple. Apple has no support obligation. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Use of Adapty, Amplitude, and Apple is subject to their policies.

12. TERMINATION

You may stop using the App anytime by deleting it.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, except where mandatory consumer laws in your country apply.

14. CHANGES

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
