Many people who are considering or unsure about taking up bass probably first take a trial lesson at a music school before making a decision.
If they decide to start playing bass, they'll continue practicing by attending the music school regularly.
However, music schools tend to have expensive facilities and equipment, so lesson fees are high and it can be difficult to quit once you start.
We feel that there are actually a certain number of people who give up on taking lessons and starting bass due to the financial burden.
So we thought that by offering one-off lessons that are easy to quit at any time, we could help these people take on the challenge of playing bass.
We live in an age where self-study is possible, using YouTube lesson videos and other methods. Once you gain a certain level of knowledge, you'll be able to practice independently without attending lessons.
That's why the concept of these lessons is to listen to the student's needs and then quickly bring them up to a state where they can practice on their own.
If you're holding back on taking the first step towards what you want to do because of financial burdens, why not take just one lesson as a starting point?
(Of course, regular attendees are also welcome.)

After playing bass in a band for a few years and improving, there's one thing everyone dreams of.
That's improvisation, and of all the major musical genres, jazz is the one that most demands improvisational ability.
For this reason, many people become interested in jazz as a way to improve their improvisation skills,
but jazz is a world where there are no right answers. And precisely because there are no right answers, it's easy to get lost and find yourself in a situation where you don't know what to practice or how to practice it to improve your improvisation skills (I found myself in a similar predicament when I first started playing jazz).
However, the improvisation skills you develop in jazz can also be applied to rock and funk, so it would be a shame to give up after stumbling at the first step.
In this lesson, I'd like to invite you into the world of jazz using my own unique method, as someone who learned jazz by trial and error.
