• Automatically collected data: device type, operating system, version, available RAM, installed/active apps, screen resolution, device settings, advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID), IP address, mobile country code, installation date, and ad interactions.

Permissions We Request

Easy File Manager may request the following permissions to enable core features of file browsing, cleaning, and optimization:

• android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
  Used on Android 10 and below to read documents, images, videos, and other files stored on your device.
  Enables browsing file directories and accessing different file types.

• android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
  Used on Android 10 and below to create, edit, and save files.
  Enables writing to external storage when entering file directories.

• android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
  Required on Android 11 and above for advanced file management.
  Grants broad read/write access to files and folders on external storage.

• android.permission.INTERNET
  Required for features that involve online requests.
  Enables access to network services and displaying ads.

• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
  Allows the app to check whether your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  Used during startup to ensure stable network operation.

• android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13 and above)
  Enables sending optional notifications about completed tasks, updates, or reminders.
  Used on the startup page and main page.

• android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE
  Allows the app to keep running foreground tasks, such as large file operations.
  Used on the startup page, main page, and after authorization when the app is active.

• android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE
  A special type of foreground service permission for enhanced task handling.
  Used on the startup page, main page, and after authorization when the app is active.

• android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
  Allows the app to start necessary services after device reboot.
  Used to trigger certain cleanup or monitoring tasks on boot.

• android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS
  Needed for cache and storage analysis.
  Enables the app to check application size and recent usage times to help optimize storage.

• android.permission.CLEAR_APP_CACHE
  Allows clearing cache files across installed applications.
  Used on the junk-cleaning page to free storage space.

• android.permission.DELETE_CACHE_FILES
  Grants the ability to delete cached data for installed applications.
  Used during junk cleaning to optimize device performance.
  
  

We only request these permissions when necessary to deliver core functionality. You can manage or revoke them anytime in your device’s system settings.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data only for the following purposes:

• Delivering and improving file management features.

• Helping you clean junk files and optimize storage.

• Displaying ads (personalized only if you give consent).

• Analyzing performance and improving stability (Google Analytics for Firebase, AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics).

• Preventing spam, fraud, or unauthorized access.

You can disable personalized ads anytime through device settings or by contacting us. Even after opting out, you may still see non-personalized ads.

3. How We Share Information

We never sell your personal information. Data may only be shared in the following cases:

• Service providers: such as Google Play Services, AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics.

• Business changes: during mergers, acquisitions, or transfers.
