Financial Responsibility

Each cheerleader will be responsible for all costs associated with being a member of the ENHS cheerleading team. The amounts below are ESTIMATED COSTS for each item.

Sponsor shirts are a huge opportunity to cut down the cost of your financial needs for the year. The added benefit of sponsor shirts is it allows a team member to contribute a portion of excess funds back to the cheerleading program. Not only does it give money back to the program, it allows for each individual to pay for their uniform, etc. More information about that will come after tryouts.

Cheerleaders have the option to own their uniform! If you choose not to purchase the uniform, an invoice will be sent for the full cost of the uniform if it is not turned in by the date set.

Ways Parents Can Be Involved

Safety

We care about the safety of the Cheerleaders, with that being said, we want to allow stunting. Coaches will evaluate the level of ability and strength amongst the squad. Each individual will be placed into stunt groups accordingly.

Consequences for Earned Points

4 points:  Cheerleader will sit out a game and a letter will go home to parent/guardian.  (You must still attend the game in full uniform)

8 points:  Cheerleader will sit out 2 games and a letter will go home to parent/guardian.  (You must still attend the games in full uniform.)  If a varsity cheerleader, a varsity letter will no longer be earned.

10 points:  Cheerleader will be removed from the team for the remainder of the season.  Varsity

letter will not be earned.

**Too many excused absences in one season will result in a conversation between Coaches and the individual (Possibly a Parent as well) to determine holding a position on the team.

Varsity Letter

Per athletic handbook:

*** In order to earn a varsity letter for Cheerleading:

Please note: Patches for sectionals and beyond are given at the discretion of the athletic department. If they are given as an option, you are responsible for paying for them. With that being said, you MUST be at all games to obtain the patch for that tournament run.
