When students ask, "How many books can I check out?" I usually answer their question with a question: "How many books can you (1) keep track of, (2) read in a week, (3) carry?" There's your answer! Most students check out between one and six books at a time.
There are no overdue or late fees. If a book is lost, or damaged beyond repair, we ask the family to replace the book or pay the cost to replace it, if possible. If you think a book is lost or destroyed, please contact the librarian.
All library users have a First Amendment right to read, view, and listen to library resources. The Library Bill of Rights and the Freedom to Read Statement of the American Library Association are used as guiding documents. Parents or guardians have the right to guide the reading, viewing, and listening of their children, but must give the same right to other parents/guardians.
