We’re excited to introduce a new Sideline Youth Cheerleading program launching this season under the EICC league —designed especially for families looking for a fun, supportive, and lower-commitment introduction to cheer!
This program will be led by Katie Schroeder, Christa Faivre, Nalini Deen & Jenna Jennings.
Unlike competitive cheer, our Sideline Cheer focuses on team spirit, building confidence, and community involvement, with a lighter schedule that’s ideal for newcomers or those balancing multiple activities.
Here’s what to expect:
Cheer at local youth football games alongside your teammates
Participate in East Islip’s homecoming parade & EICC’s Pep Rally as part of our league’s community presence
Enjoy a welcoming and inclusive team environment
Practice schedules that are manageable for busy families
Whether your child is trying cheer for the first time or simply loves showing their spirit, our program is a great way to learn the basics, make friends, and have a blast this season.
A few notes:
You can only join sideline cheer if you are not a part of any other EICC team.
Depending on the amount of interest is how the teams will be made. Multiple teams might be formed and based on age groups.
Teams will be capped at 25 cheerleaders.
1st Grade - 2nd Grade
3rd Grade - 5th Grade
The season will run from August until mid November.
Practice will take place once a week in East Islip.
Registration cost will be $100.00
This will cover:
Insurance, Uniform, Pom Poms, Socks.
Things that are not included:
Sneakers
Youth football game schedules are finalized the week of. We will send out as much notice as possible for football games. The sideline teams will only be cheering at home games in East Islip.
We do know that games are scheduled to start on the second Sunday in September until the second Sunday in November.
