ABOUT EHPTO
East Hanover's PTO's goal is for parents and teachers to collaborate to provide all students with excellent educational experiences. EHPTO is a great way to meet other parents and to be involved in your child's school experience. We require no dues or membership fees, but we do hope that you decide to get involved and have some fun! 

Every parent, guardian, teacher and staff member is already a member of the EHPTO and invited to attend meetings, and volunteer your time, talents and treasures as you are able. Participating in PTO meetings or activities does not require a huge commitment from you. The amount of participation and time given to EHPTO varies for each individual. Our students and our school benefit from any amount of support we give them.

WHAT WE DO
The EHPTO raises funds each year to give our students more. School fees and district budgets only go so far. Through our members and volunteers, we organize, fund and put on many of the activities and events our students get to experience in and out of the classroom. This helps them develop a love of learning and have fun at the same time.

We support teachers to make sure they have more tools they need to go above and beyond books and worksheets and create classrooms that encourage students to learn and try new things. We all agree, East Hanover teachers and staff are the best! So we provide additional funds to each of them for use to add classroom supplies, school necessities and curriculum enhancements.

We develop our students by opening up more ways to learn with interactive activities like Academic Fair, Ag Lab, school assemblies, author visits, Field Day and Mini-THON (and more!) to keep students engaged and excited.

We make our student's time in elementary school more educational, more engaging, and more well-rounded because ALL of our students deserve the very best.
