Homeschool Co-op

Thank you for your interest in our Co-op. We are excited to have you join our family for the 2026-2027 school year! Our goal is to have a small group of families working together to help our children grow and learn in a safe and supportive space. We do not want any of our families to feel like they are lost in a flood of people so we plan to keep our co-op small. We need a minimum of 10 families to keep costs low but ideally do not want to exceed 15 families. Our co-op will run for 28 weeks on Tuesdays beginning in September from 11am-2pm and will include plenty of opportunities for families to help guide and educate our youth. The cost of the co-op is $175 per family for the entire year. To keep costs low and as a per family fee, this does not include printing worksheets for our class. You are welcome to print your own material, bring in a laptop or tablet to write on, or we can print for you for an additional fee.

Our classes will be aimed at Gr 1-6 students with some flexibility based on parental judgement of their childs' abilities. Our co-op will include 4 40minute classes with a short break to eat.

Subjects

-Science

-Health and Phys-Ed

-History (gr 4-6) or Social Studies (gr 1-4)

-Special Interest and Presentation Prep (students will alternate between learning how to prepare and present a unit end presentation in front of their peers and participating in fun activities such as tie dye, art, sewing, and board games).

East Hamilton Community Co-op is designed as a secular co-op. However, we do understand and expect to have a wide variety of beliefs, wants and needs from each of our joining families. By joining our co-op you agree that each of these beliefs will be respected by both adults and children in your family. We are not asking for anyone to change or dismiss their own beliefs to affirm someone else’s, but instead to be kind, accepting and respectful to the beautiful community coming together as a family to grow and learn together.
