Welcome "Eastern Suburbs" Helen O'Grady Drama Academy Families!

This site is solely to provide families relevant information regarding Term 3 Mid-Year performances for the Eastern Suburbs Branch in an accessible location to keep you up to date.

Please scroll down & read the information on the HOME PAGE first.

Then locate your Studio above at the top of the Home Page and click on that Studio Tab (name) for specific information relating to your child's class.

How to Navigate this site:

If you are looking at this website on a mobile phone, the Studio Tabs (names) will be just three small lines located at the top left hand corner of the Home Page - tap there & it will open the tabs for the Studios – click on your child's Studio.

If you are on a Tablet, a couple of Studio Tabs (names) only will be written across the top of the screen on the Home Page and then there will be an arrow with the word MORE next to it. Click on the word MORE to extend the list of Studio names as needed.

If you are on a computer the Studio Tabs (names) will be written across the top of the screen on the Home Page.

In each Studio Tab you will find all the rehearsal & performance times listed first. Then scroll further down the page & there is the costuming info for each class listed underneath.

All information regarding our Term 3 Mid-Year Performance (including the Newsletter) has also been emailed to all families using the contact details we have on file for your child. Please check SPAM/ Junk Mail & other Promotional Tabs to ensure you have received them.

If you have a question or need further information regarding our Term 3 Mid-Year performances, please contact Principal Merylena Sulak directly so that she can upload the answer to your applicable Studio.

If you have a particular question please ask, as other families may also have the same question!

Term 3, 2026 Dates to Remember

DRESS REHEARSAL

Dress Rehearsal will be held in class at your usual venue to check children’s costumes.

Week 8 – (week beginning) Friday, 4th September 2026

Kalamunda Studio - Fri 4th September
Mundaring Studio - Sat 5th September
Swan View Studio - Mon 7th September
Dianella Studio - Tues 8th September
Guildford Homeschool Studio - Thurs 10th Sept

Please wear your full costume to class for the teacher to see. Any students who cannot attend class on the above date, will need to wear their costumes to class either the week before OR the week after please!

TECH REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE DAY

Sat 19th September 2026

ALL STUDENTS are to please arrive already dressed in costume!!

The same as in class, parents do not attend Technical Rehearsal.

Children will remain in the hall until the performance begins & can be collected by parents after the show.

Children are to please bring their own water bottle & some small snacks; keeping in mind the allergy information noted in the Newsletter.

Specific rehearsal & performance times on this day for each Studio & Class can be located in your child's Studio Tab; please click on the relevant tab for your child's Studio.

Tickets are only available at the door – cash only - thank you for your understanding.

Adults: $15.00

Children (not attending the Academy): $5.00

FINAL LESSON OF TERM 3, 2026

Monday 21st September - Saturday 26th September

Our final lesson of Term 3 will be held at our regular studio venues & times during the week after our

Mid-Year performances.

ALL students are invited to BRING A FRIEND and dress up in any costume they like for our last fun lesson to celebrate a successful term!

You are most welcome to bring along family, friends, teachers & anyone you like to the show!

To cover the cost of hall hire, sound and lighting, staging etc, there is a small entrance fee:

Adults - $15.00

Children (not attending the Academy) - $5.00

Entrance fee is payable at the door, which is open to the public at the time of your child's performance.

Tickets are not sold prior to this date.

We DO NOT have EFTPOS facilities available;

cash only please – our apologies for any inconvenience.

We also thank you for your patience & understanding while waiting for your child's rehearsal to finish.

Please note: queuing outside the venue’s main entrance is a requirement of the Morley Sport & Recreation Centre.

2026 Mid-Year Performance

Term 4, 2026 Registration will soon be OPEN! DON'T MISS OUT!

At the end of Week 6 of this term you will be sent your Term 4 Xero Invoice.

Please finalise your invoice BEFORE the end of Term 3 (Saturday 26th September) to complete registration & secure your child's place in class for next term.

(Invoices will be emailed to all currently enrolled students. Please contact the office if you do not receive yours.)

Term 4 is a 9 lesson term of general fun filled classes, that includes our "Family Fun Session

& 2026 Certificate Presentations" at the end of the term where ALL enrolled students are acknowledged.

Term 4, 2026 runs from Monday 12th October – Saturday 12th December (9 weeks) as follows:

Term 4, 2026 Certificate List

(Current as of: Thurs 3rd September 2026 - Wk7, Term 3)

CERTIFICATES AWARDED 3 Sept Edit Term 4 2026.pdf

For every full year (four full terms) attended, our students receive an Achievement Certificate presented at the end of Term 4.

The attached list will indicate students who are due to receive their certificate during our 'Term 4 Family Fun session' held in class.

Recently enrolled students received a 'Special Certificate' to acknowledge their contribution to class.

If, for any reason, you believe your child should be receiving an Achievement Certificate this year and: your child's name is not on the list, spelt incorrectly or any errors noted, please contact our office, immediately!
