ABOUT US

The Eastern Maine Dressage Association (EMDA), founded in 1978, is a chapter of The Maine Dressage Society, a 501c3 non-profit group member organization affiliated with the United States Dressage Federation.

EMDA’s mission is to foster and support interest in the discipline of dressage in eastern Maine. The principles of dressage provide the foundation for the gradual and harmonious development of the horse’s physical and mental condition, as well as improving its natural gaits. This will ultimately lead to a perfect understanding between horse and rider.

EMDA works to provide learning opportunities for its members by supporting activities that help its community of members and their horses progress in the discipline of dressage.
