The East Clinton Marching Band serves as Champions and Ambassadors for the East Clinton Community on the local, regional and national level. The Marching Astros are the most publicly visible ensemble in the music program, performing nearly 30 times a year at local events, pep rallies, games and competitions. The band has developed a rich tradition of excellence on and off the field, earning caption and placement awards in OMEA, MSBA and BOA competition. A progressive, modern marching arts ensemble, the band programs a variety of music each season to create an exciting on field production. Alumni from the marching Astros have earned positions in drum corps, winter guards and college marching bands.
