Brussels Sprouts with Mushrooms
2 Bags of Brussels Sprouts
1/2lb of Blue or Green Oyster Mushrooms
6 cloves of garlic
½ onion
Balsamic Vinegar
1. Boil 6-8 cups of water.
2. Cut brussels sprouts in half and add to boiling water.
3. Boil the sprouts for about 5 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
4. Cut up ½ lb of mushrooms, and add to the pan on medium heat.
5. Dry cook mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes to release water.
6. In a separate pan with oil, cook garlic and onions on medium heat, after about 3-5 minutes of cooking onions and garlic add the cooked mushrooms with a splash of water and spices. Cook onions, garlic and mushrooms for 3-5 minutes.
7. In a cooking pan add olive oil and place brussels sprouts face down on the cooking pan. Add onion, garlic and mushroom garnish and mix with brussels sprouts, and seasoning and spices as needed. Add olive oil and balsamic vinegar as desired.
8. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes, or longer is crispier texture is desired.
