K2C/Pathways 8th Grade Trip

Kids2College / Pathways to Professional Skilled Trades (K2C/PPST) is an annual experiential learning trip designed for 8th-grade students. This experience introduces students to what a college campus is like while also exposing them to a variety of manufacturing and skilled trades career pathways. By combining college exploration with hands-on career awareness, K2C/PPST helps students begin thinking early about their postsecondary options and future goals.

East Jackson students have visited a range of college campuses and local employers through this experience, including Hillsdale College, Albion College, Classic Metal Finishing, Lematic, and Orbform.
