Ease Your Work ("we", "our", or "us") built the Karyo app. The app is available in a free, ad-supported version and a premium version. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

Information Collection and Use

All task-related data you create within the app — including tasks, categories, and reminders — is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device to provide its core functionality:

1.  Task details (title, date, priority, completion status)

2.  Custom categories (name and color)

3.  Reminder settings (time and associated task information)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Third-Party Services:

Google AdMob (Free Version Only)

The free version of Karyo uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. 

 Permissions

The app requests the following device permissions:

1. Notifications:  To display task reminder notifications.

2. Exact Alarms: To schedule reminders at the exact time you set.

3. Boot Completed: To reschedule your reminders after your device restarts.

4. Internet: To load and display advertisements in the free version.

5. Network State: To check network availability before loading ads.

Data Security

Your task data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). Ad-related data transmitted by Google AdMob is handled securely by Google's infrastructure. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your personal information.

Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed at children under the age of 13. The free version uses Google AdMob, which may collect certain data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the ad services, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
