EasySpot ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our parking location tracking application. 

Information We Collect 

EasySpot stores all data locally on your device and does NOT transmit any personal information to external servers. The following information is stored exclusively on your device:

• Location Data: GPS coordinates of your parked vehicle locations

• Photos: Images you take of your parking spots

• Notes: Text notes you add to parking locations

• Vehicle Information: Vehicle names and license plate numbers you choose to store

• Reminder Preferences: Parking reminder settings and times

• App Preferences: Your onboarding status and first-time setup completion

Permissions We Request 

To provide our services, EasySpot requests the following permissions:

• Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Required to determine and save your parking location

• Camera (CAMERA): Optional - only used if you choose to take photos of your parking spot

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Optional - only used if you set parking reminders

• Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_EXACT_ALARM): Optional - only used to schedule exact reminder notifications

How We Use Your Information 

All data collected by EasySpot is:

• Stored locally on your device only

• Never transmitted to our servers or any third parties

• Never shared with advertisers or data brokers

• Fully under your control - you can delete all data by uninstalling the app

Your information is used solely to:

• Display your saved parking locations

• Show photos and notes you've added

• Send reminder notifications you've set

• Manage your vehicle information

• Provide navigation to your saved locations (via Google Maps)

Data Sharing and Third Parties 

Google Play Billing

If you purchase our Premium subscription, payment processing is handled by Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google processes payments.

Google Maps Integration

When you tap "Navigate" to your parking location, EasySpot opens Google Maps with your saved coordinates. This interaction is handled directly by Google Maps, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

No Analytics or Tracking

EasySpot does NOT use:

• Analytics services

• Advertising networks

• Tracking pixels or cookies

• Third-party data collection tools

Data Security 

Your data security is our priority:

• Local Storage: All data is stored on your device using Android's secure storage mechanisms

• Encrypted Preferences: Premium subscription status is stored using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences

• No Cloud Backup: Data is not automatically backed up to cloud services

• No Account Required: EasySpot does not require account creation or login

Your Data Rights 

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is accessible within the app at any time

• Modification: You can edit or delete any parking location, vehicle, or photo

• Deletion: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all stored data

• Export: You can share individual parking locations using the share feature

Premium Subscription 

Subscription Information

• Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play Store

• Subscription status is verified with Google Play Billing

• No credit card information is stored in EasySpot

• Subscription data is stored securely using encrypted storage

Subscription Features

Premium features include:

• Unlimited parking locations (free users limited to 5)

• Unlimited photo storage

• Unlimited parking reminders

• Unlimited vehicle management

• Premium location sharing

Children's Privacy 

EasySpot is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to our app, please contact us immediately. 

Changes to This Privacy Policy 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy

• Displaying a notification in the app (for material changes)

Your continued use of EasySpot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Retention 

Active Data: Stored on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app

Deleted Data: Permanently removed from your device immediately upon deletion

Subscription Data: Retained as long as your subscription is active, then cleared

International Users 

EasySpot is designed for use worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device, no data crosses international borders through our app. However, when using Google Maps for navigation, Google's international data policies apply. 

California Privacy Rights (CCPA) 

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information is collected

• Delete personal information

• Opt-out of the sale of personal information

Important: EasySpot does NOT collect, sell, or share personal information with third parties. All data remains on your device.

European Union Users (GDPR) 

If you are an EU resident, you have rights under GDPR including:

• Right to access your data

• Right to rectification

• Right to erasure

• Right to data portability

Important: Since all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to servers, you have full control and can exercise these rights directly within the app or by uninstalling it.

• Microphone

• Phone calls

• SMS messages

• File system access (beyond photos you create)

Open Source & Transparency 

EasySpot is committed to transparency. Our app does not contain:

• Hidden data collection

• Background services that run without your knowledge

• Tracking mechanisms

• Third-party advertising SDKs

Consent 

By using EasySpot, you consent to:

• Local storage of your parking data on your device

• The permissions you grant to the app

• This Privacy Policy

You can withdraw consent at any time by:

• Revoking permissions in your device settings

• Deleting data within the app

• Uninstalling the app
