Ease is a video game franchise that I started back in 2017 on a website called Scratch. The game features an alien that looks like a greater-than sign travelling across the Kenuo galaxy completing platforming, dodging, and other challenges to try to save his land from the villain of the game. Whether that be Dream Ease, The Creator, Ifei, or even Polo Ease. These games gained a small traction. Today, the series is being developed in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 and Unity. Publishing is done here: https://gamejolt.com/@GlazedGames. Many characters were introduced over the years: Ifei, Polo Ease, Huggy, Mr. K, The Creator, etc. The series continues to expand to this day!
June 22nd, 2017 was the day Ease was born. That means Ease has been around for 4 years by now! It all started with Ease Racing DEMO. The game was very buggy and unbalanced. The game only had two characters: Ease and Huggy. Back then, Huggy wasn't developed and just a placeholder character that was never changed. However, the first REAL Ease Game came out on June 27th, 2017. It was a project of Ease and Brother Ease battling. It was just a simple game and very glitchy. That same day, I released another Ease game that introduced Dream Ease. It was another fight against Brother Ease, who seemed to be the main antagonist at this point. This all changed when even later on that same day, Ease was released. The first chronological Ease game. It was a platformer with simple mechanics and low effort. The main antagonist was Dream Ease. Yet, it stuck. A sequel spawned on July 4th, 2017. It was Ease fighting against random characters from the Scratch sprite library. Ease 3, was one of the more higher effort Ease games. It contained a relatively well-made intro and a level map screen. The physics were even worse than most flash games back then. Yet again, Dream Ease was the final boss. However, the game introduced Baby Ease, Sand Ease, and Wet Ease. Then came along Ease Quest, a short RPG that introduced Ifei and Lilo. Ifei, was the new main antagonist. Afterwards, tons of random and bizzare Ease games followed including one Ifei spinoff. Until, on July 24th, Ease 4 released. One of the best Ease games to this day. Yes, it was glitchy. Yes, it was relatively short. However, the game had a fully functional menu, sidescrolling, many worlds, and bosses. Tons of new Rock Ease was introduced. Ease 5 came out which was just a remix of an already made project. Then, Ease 6. Right after, Ease 7 and 8 followed introducing Polo Ease and his plot to take over. Then Ease 9, a weird edutainment game. Ease 10, The cruise came out which was a good platformer with Dream Ease finally getting destroyed for good. Ease 11 then came out, one of the most interesting Ease games. Not for level design, art choices, or title screens. The game was incredibly bizarre. It introduced a new antagonist: The Creator. The series took a dark turn. Ease was given a gun, a forest was lit on fire, Ease was having an identity crisis, all while The Creator is trying to ship Ease to Alaska and continue unethical experimentation. The game was fun but it was ultimately taken down on my choice. It just kind of lost the Ease spirit. Ease 12, also was somewhat interesting. The game was very confusing and you had to collect keys to do stuff. Ease 13, an RPG to save the world from The Creator, came out. It had items, dungeons, and was quite good. However, the game was buggy. Ease 14 also had a long development history, being redesigned and cancelled around four different times until the game finally came out for a design studio and was a 10 level long platformer. Ease 15, the four mages, was supposed to be a big Ease game with a level editor and HUGE campaign. However, the game NEVER finished. Ease was left in the shadows for around a year, no updates. Until, I got my hands on Clickteam Fusion 2.5 and made a remaster of Ease 2. Then, a chain of reactions started to create Ease Collection. A celebration of Ease over the years with remastered, longer, and less glitchy version of the first four games plus TONS of bonus content including the long lost Ease 11 (some elements changed), and TONS of more Ease games ported. Ease Collection isn't released yet but the demo for the game is out and supporting the game would really help improve it: https://gamejolt.com/games/easecollection/628736. The next installment in the Ease series is being made by @Lsmar2 on GameJolt. The spinoff Ifei series is being made by @MasterGames31 on GameJolt.
