We are Recovery: Photo, Video Files (“Application,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), developed by Eskimo Technologies Group. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you access and use our Services. We collect limited information to ensure our app functions properly, improve stability, and support advertising and analytics.

IP address (coarse, non-precise)

Note: We do not use persistent identifiers (such as Android ID, IMEI, or MAC address) for advertising purposes.
App activity and click interactions

If you send feedback or error reports by email, we may collect:

The content of your message
This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry or support request.
Android 6–10 (Storage Permission): Needed to scan device storage for deleted files and to save recovered files.
Android 11+ (All Files Access / MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Needed for the app’s core purpose of scanning all storage locations (including hidden/system folders) to locate recoverable items and to save them back to your device.
We do not upload, collect, or transmit your personal files (photos, videos, audio, or documents). All recovery operations happen locally on your device.
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected such data without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
We use the collected information to:
Provide and maintain app functionality (scanning, recovering, and saving files).
Diagnose crashes, improve stability, and enhance user experience.
Serve ads (via AdMob) and measure ad performance.
Conduct aggregated, anonymized analytics through Firebase.
Respond to your support inquiries.
We work with third-party service providers for advertising and analytics:
AdMob (Google LLC) – Used to show ads and measure their performance.
Data: Google Advertising ID, coarse IP, device signals (e.g., OS version, model).

We do not collect your list of installed applications.
To provide full recovery functionality, our app requests the following permissions:
Storage (Android 6–10): Scan for deleted files and save recovered files.
All Files Access (Android 11+): Required solely for the core purpose of file recovery. Not used for advertising or analytics.
Internet & Network Access: Load ads and check connectivity.
Notification Permission (Android 13+): Used to send recovery progress or status notifications (optional).
We do not use these permissions to access or modify your personal files beyond recovery features.
Diagnostics and analytics data are retained by our providers for up to 12 months and then deleted or aggregated.
Support emails are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your request and for compliance.
Recovered files remain on your device only; we do not retain them.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
With service providers: Google AdMob (ads) and Firebase (analytics/crash reporting), under strict data-processing agreements.
For legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government request.
Business transfers: If our business is merged, acquired, or sold, data may transfer under confidentiality safeguards.
Our service providers (e.g., Google) may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we apply legal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to protect your information.
Depending on your region, you may have the following rights:
Withdraw Consent: Disable permissions in your device settings.
Access / Correct Data: Contact us to learn what data we hold and request corrections.
Delete Data: Clear app cache or uninstall the app; request deletion of support emails.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell personal data. Some ad partners may process identifiers for personalized ads in ways that could be considered “sharing.” You may opt out via device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of our Services after updates means you accept the revised terms.
