Most times, mass-produced jewelry has no proof of origin, process, mining practices, fair pay for workers, gender equality, child labour practices, safe working conditions or clean water supplies for the surrounding communities.

This means that sustainable jewelry is often more expensive. 

You pay for the assurance of your jewelry's journey and craftsmanship. 

For lower prices (and even cooler finds) look in thrift or vintage stores and on sites like Etsy or Ebay!
