This is the privacy policy for the EarthMode app.
1. Information We Collect EarthMode collects only the minimum information necessary to provide the app experience, improve stability, and allow optional account features.
Account information (optional): Email (for login, subscriptions).
Usage data: Session progress, feature usage, and basic event analytics (via privacy-compliant analytics providers).
Device information: Device model, OS version, app version, crash logs (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics). We do not collect advertising IDs or personal device identifiers.
Payment & subscription: Processed by Google Play Billing. We only receive purchase confirmations and do not store payment details.
Support communications: Email content you provide when contacting support (used only to resolve your issue).
2. What We Do NOT Collect We intentionally avoid collecting sensitive data to respect your privacy and to comply with Google Play guidelines.
No personal health records or diagnoses.
No biometric data, contact lists, photos, or files.
No precise GPS location data.
No microphone or camera access required by the app.
We do not sell user data under any circumstances.
3. How We Use Your Information We use collected data only to:
Provide and personalize the in-app experience.
Track progress and session history (when you choose to create an account).
Improve app performance and fix crashes.
Handle account and subscription status via Google Play.
Respond to support requests.
4. Data Sharing We do not share personal data with third parties except where necessary:
Service providers: Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics), Google Play Billing — these providers process data under their own privacy and security standards.
Legal requirements: If required by law (court order, legal process), we may disclose information to comply. (Note: We never share user data for advertising or marketing purposes, and we never sell personal data.)
5. Data Security We follow industry-standard security practices to protect user data:
Encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
Secure authentication (Firebase Auth) for optional account features
Access controls and least-privilege data access for internal systems

10. Play Store Safety & Compliance Checklist
Complies with Google Play User Data policies — transparent data collection & use.
Data Safety section: declare analytics, crash reporting, and account info; state no sale of data.
No unnecessary or sensitive permissions requested by the app.
Subscription handling through Google Play Billing only; no direct payment data storage.
Includes a clear medical disclaimer to avoid making clinical claims.
Children’s policy and contact information included.
