Earthling Superstar is a single-player Android game with computer-controlled rivals. You do not need a player account. The game has no player chat, online leaderboard or game-operated cloud save service. The new release is intended for children and adults within the age groups approved in its Google Play listing. Parents should supervise younger players. Store content ratings are assigned separately and can differ by country.
The game saves your chosen player name, best score, selected outfit, audio/language/graphics preferences and any earned next-round bonus locally on your device. These settings are not sent to a BroadSword game server. You can remove them by clearing the game's app data in Android settings or uninstalling the game. Clearing app data also removes your saved progress.
The game uses Google AdMob advertising through the standard Google Mobile Ads SDK. Live adverts can generate revenue for BroadSword. Earlier test builds and builds specifically marked for ad testing use Google sample adverts, which do not generate revenue. Advertising is optional to gameplay: an unavailable advert or an offline connection does not prevent play.
The new release applies child-directed and under-age-of-consent advertising treatment to every player, requests general-audience (G) and non-personalised adverts, and disables the publisher first-party identifier before loading adverts. It does not ask for a date of birth or an age. Advertising ID and Android ad-services permissions are removed from this release. We do not use interest-based advertising or remarketing in this game.
These settings limit advertising features; they do not eliminate all technical processing. Google's advertising and privacy services can process an IP address (including approximate location inferred from it), app and device information, advertising interactions, and diagnostics to deliver contextual adverts, measure performance and prevent fraud. The game does not request precise location, contacts, microphone or camera access. Google describes advertising SDK transmissions as encrypted in transit. The game checks Google's privacy requirements before loading adverts and provides ad privacy choices when Google requires them.
The updated release offers a randomly chosen next-round bonus after each completed round. The exact bonus is shown before a five-second countdown to a rewarded video, with an immediate cancel option. A bonus is granted only when Google reports the reward has been earned; skipping or cancelling does not grant it. Cancelling returns to the main menu. Banner adverts may appear in a separate area below the game, and are hidden during full-screen adverts. Ad loading is never required to start another round.
All seven character skins are free. There are no purchases or subscriptions. Earlier installed versions may still show ordinary between-round adverts until updated.
For Google's practices and controls, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services. Android settings provide controls to reset or delete the advertising ID where supported.
Parents or adult testers can email us. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer you, investigate problems and improve the game. You can share your phone model, Android version and a description of a problem; please avoid including passwords or unrelated personal information in screenshots.
If you volunteer as a tester, your Google account email may be used to manage access to the Google Play test. Google separately processes information about downloads, testing and app operation under its own policies. BroadSword may view the testing, performance and diagnostic reports that Google makes available to developers.
Local game settings remain on your device until removed. Support messages and testing records are retained only for as long as needed to handle support, manage testing and meet applicable obligations. Google's retention practices apply to information processed by its services.
To request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you have supplied to BroadSword, email earthlingsuperstarsupport@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request. We cannot directly delete data held independently by Google; Google's privacy controls explain how to manage that information. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to processing, restrict it or complain to your data protection authority.
Children can play without creating an account or submitting personal information. A player name is stored only on the device and is not an online identity. Parents should handle support enquiries, testing-community membership and any external links for younger players. Please do not send a child's full name, birthday, photographs, school, address or other unnecessary personal information.
If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support mailbox, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate. Parents can contact us about the information they or their child supplied. We do not sell children's personal information or use it for personalised advertising.
We will update this policy when the game's data practices change, including before adding purchases or online game services. The date above identifies the latest version.
