We are so happy you're here and interested in celebrating planet Earth with us. Below you'll find all the information you need to join us on June 6th at Confederation Park.
See you there!
Kingston will mark Canadian Environment Week by hosting EARTH FEST, a family-oriented festival in Confederation Park on June 6 from 10 to 5.
EARTH FEST is a community event for all ages with information booths, activities and music. Our goal is to remind those who attend how much we value our planet and our climate. There will be live music throughout the day. The nature booths will include information about bees, turtles, birds, Monarch butterflies, and community gardens. Experts will provide information about climate threats and solutions, including heat pumps and electric vehicles. Activities for families include engaging with a puppeteer who is an environmental champion, T-shirt painting, story time, button making, face painting, a Selfie Booth, a booth welcoming babies born in 2025 and their families
As a human, I am a grateful guest on Earth. The Earth is sacred: a blue and green jewel in the universe, and the only planet that can be our home. The well-being of all who inhabit it, big and small, matters deeply to me. It is a joy and an honour to take part in caring for our precious planet together. I pledge to do all that I can to protect and nurture the Earth.
